Sequoia was privileged to be selected as the
general contractor to construct a nine thousand seven hundred square foot building addition that includes both office and
warehouse space as well as expansion of the existing parking lot. Sequoia General Contracting Corp. was
responsible for coordination of all trades, including those working for the owner directly.
Sequoia remodeled sixteen thousand square feet of office area into a new
front office support facility for one of the world’s largest manufacturers of heat exchanger equipment.
A complex part of this project was turning an empty one hundred and thirty seven thousand square foot facility into a complex
industrial manufacturing facility which comprised moving fifty pieces of equipment from two plants in Melrose
Park to the new Wood Dale facility. All existing equipment required all MEP, air services roughed
