Sequoia was privileged to be selected as the general contractor to construct a thirty thousand square foot therapeutic school to assist Autistic Children. Sequoia’s mission of creating an environment where business professional, professional and organizations can thrive was very evident on this project. The specialized architectural design included new LED lighting fixtures vs. fluorescent fixtures. The LED lighting presents to the students better visual ability without the flickering characteristics present with fluorescents. Classrooms and bathrooms, along with specialized care classrooms were built to serve the students. The schools staff was very pleased at the genuine effort, care, and attention shown by the Sequoia staff.
Sequoia was awarded the build out of an eight thousand square foot empty retail mall
space in Vernon Hills, Illinois that was transformed into the Empire Beauty School. Working within a
tight project schedule, Sequoia worked diligently with their trade contractors, Newman Architecture and
Empire’s representative, Tom Mansell, to ensure a beautifully crafted learning facility was ready for
